What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between page visits — for example, what's in your cart. "Local storage" is a similar browser feature we also use.
Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, remember your cart, secure checkout. The site won't work without these. | Supabase auth token, cart localStorage, Stripe checkout session. |
| Functional | Remember preferences like banner dismissals and recently viewed items. | Pickup banner dismissal, "Buy again" history. |
| Analytics | Aggregate, anonymised stats about how the site is used so we can improve it. | Page-view and performance metrics. |
Third-party cookies
When you pay by card, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout iframe to detect fraud and complete the payment. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Controlling cookies
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in and checkout.
- You can clear our cart/preferences any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser.
- You can dismiss the cookie banner with "Accept" or "Only necessary" — your choice is stored locally and remembered on this device.
